A license takes years. This is who is writing about the path.
Nothing here is urgent, which means there is time to get it right and no excuse for guessing.
Who writes this
Jeff Clerisier, Trojan Digital Marketing. Not a licensed electrician, and not someone who has worked the hours this site describes.
What I bring is that I read the rules rather than repeating what other sites say the rules are. Most of what circulates about licensing requirements is copied from other summaries, and errors propagate that way for years.
Why that is a real problem in this subject
Licensing facts are exactly the kind of thing people restate without checking. Hour requirements, fees and eligibility rules get quoted confidently from sources that were wrong or are now out of date.
When our own research turned up two different figures for the same requirement, that disagreement went on the page. It did not get resolved by picking the more common number.
What it does not do
It does not prepare you to sit the examination and it does not work code calculations. Those belong somewhere else, and half-covering them here would make both worse.
